Description

In the old literature, telepuk means flowers and anything made of gold. According to the kamus dewan, third edition (2002 1402), generally the name of telepuk was taken by the process of menelepuk using golden leaf or water of gold by using pieces of metal that will form the composition of motifs on the surface a fabric.Nowadays due to the lack of understanding and information, most Malaysians have no clear idea about this Malay textile heritage.Hence, the artist try to commercialize the traditional telepuk motifs.
